- Your photos and videos never leave your phone.
- Everything you add is kept on your phone. There is no account, and we have no copy.
- One thing is sent to us: a technical report if the app crashes. It never includes photos, names, dates, your location or anything you wrote.
Who we are
Little Times is an iPhone app made by Daniel Bulut, an independent developer in Australia. If you have a question about anything on this page, write to hello@littletimes.app.
What stays on your phone
- Your photos and videos. Little Times reads them from your photo library to find your child and arrange them by age. That work is done on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded, and Little Times never changes or deletes anything in your library.
- What the app works out about your photos, such as which ones show a child.
- Your child’s name, birth date and due date.
- Your moments, milestones and favourites, the words you write, and your settings.
None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it.
If you back up your iPhone, with iCloud or to a computer, that backup may include what Little Times keeps, as it does for other apps. The backup is yours, under your own Apple account.
Notifications
Notifications are planned on your phone, not sent from a server. When one shows a photo, a small copy is made on your phone for iPhone to display. It goes nowhere else.
Crash reports
If the app crashes, or something in it fails, a short technical report is sent to us so we can fix it. A report contains:
- what went wrong, and where in the app’s code;
- the app’s version;
- details of the iPhone: its model, iOS version, screen size, language setting, and its state at that moment, such as free memory and battery level;
- a random code, so one phone’s reports can be told from another’s. It does not say who you are, and we cannot link it to you.
A report never contains your photos, your child’s name, dates, your location, or anything you wrote. Nothing is sent unless something has gone wrong.
Reports are handled for us by Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), stored in the United States, and deleted automatically within 90 days. Like any internet service, Sentry sees the IP address a report arrives from; we have set it not to store that address or work out a location from it.
If you test with TestFlight
Before Little Times is on the App Store, you may be trying it through TestFlight, Apple’s testing service. Apple collects some information from testers, such as crash logs and how the test version is used, and shares it with us. If you send feedback or a screenshot through TestFlight, we receive what you send, and may see the email address you joined with. Apple’s own terms and privacy policy cover TestFlight.
What we don’t do
- No ads.
- No selling or sharing of your information.
- No tracking of how you use the app.
- No account to create.
Children
Little Times is for parents and carers. It isn’t meant for children to use. What you record about your child stays on your phone.
Your choices
- Photo access. You can change or remove it at any time in your iPhone’s Settings, under Little Times.
- Deleting the app deletes everything it kept. Your photo library is not touched.
- Crash reports can’t be matched to you by name, but if you have a question about them, write to us.

This site uses no cookies and no analytics. It is hosted by Vercel, which handles each request, including its IP address, in order to deliver the page. If you email us, we keep your message so we can reply.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the app is ever going to send anything else from your phone, this page will say so before it does.
